Best bottle out of a very questionable cheap wine batch. Salty and advanced. Not bad, but not good.

Some spritz, tartarate crystals, deep dark yellow. Nose was very very candied, pineapple, petrol, chamomile, musky - perhaps a touch of TCA? Palate seemed to agree. It was flat, bitter, short, with strong acidity. After 3 hours, the nose still maintains. It's colder than before, so the muskiness seemed to be masked. Palate was better as the fruit was accentuated by the lower temperature, though still short. As it warmed up, you could really tell that it was quite developed. Another meh riesling for the night.

2015. Hochheimer herrnberg riesling trocken. Bit more aromatic than vdp trocken. honey, marmalade driven aroma. high acidity...like biting orange. still in apprentivo range but also can be good with salad. 17
