Surprised by this, pleasantly!

Slightly fruity, smooth, not acidic or dry

Nose: tobacco, wood, sweet. Taste: moderate/strong but balanced tannins, though still chewy. Leather, cedar, closed fruit, cherry.

Good balance - flavor, aftertaste

Lower tannins for a cabernet. As someone who isn't crazy about a more full bodied, higher tannin Cabernet, I really enjoyed this fruit forward slightly lighter for a Cab wine. Stood up well to red meat and richer food. Needs a minute to open but really enjoyable. Plus, love the region. Will buy again.
