Excellent mature Burg of earth, ripe black fruits and a complex weighty yet stimulating and silky lithe texture carrying through to finish. Went well with the of best Mary fusion glass noodle chapchei with mackerel fish and hints at its broad utility. Aged well. 3 bottles bought in ‘05, GL32, hopefully have one more.

The second time we've had a red from this little region in southern Burgundy known for whites (conveniently placed next to Montrachet). And, it wasn't a fluke-- it's great. 2012 vintage.
