Vegetable! Green green vegetable. Did I say vegetable? After a full day of being open it finally started expressing flavors of leather and some spices but there is still definitely a green bell pepper kind of vegetable flavor the entire time. A little bit of herbal green notes also but the vegetable was almost just overwhelming.

Underripe fruit and good stinky funk on the nose precede a Syrah that's no fruit bomb. Aiming for elegant, lots of barnyard and forest floor on dark fruit. A good Crozes, likely to improve with 1-2 yrs.

Tar, pepper and leather on the nose. Light, peppery, dry. Finishes on fresh herbs, and fruit. Curious to see how it develops over time.
