Impressive freshness on the nose for the fatty, rich vintage that 2015 is showing to be for Gamay. Bright, zesty red fruit, peppery spice, loamy funk. Palate is fruity, zesty, fun, with a light sparkle. Truly classic Gamay as a vin de soif - quaffable, with light meaty and earthy notes at the edges. Pretty tasty and straightforward, as it should be.
