2012-tasted this wine at the Salon des Vignerons Indépendants in Paris. Loved it so bought a case. Tonight opened a bottle to accompany a risotto with funghi porcini home made :-)

Intrigued by an 09 Alsace Pinot...good vintage in a cooler climat...came off a bit clunky...a bit savory and jammy with some heat...abv at 14% was surprising given region but not impression on the palette...interesting but not a repeat...
