While I usually like Alsatian riesling more than Pinot Gris, I'm beginning to think it's actually PG that Alsace does most singularly. When they're good, like this one, they feel more unique to the place they come from than any other Alsatian wine.

Sophisticated, but very friendly. We really enjoyed this with our dinner of white wine, garlic cream sauced chicken breast and green beans.
