Confiance Coteau Champenois Rouge Pinot Noir

Very taut and austere still, even after six years to chill out. I wish we had more time to let it breathe, but it was definitely enjoyed by all.

Awesome discovery and the perfect night cap

80 Meunier / 20 Pinot. Pure fruit, v chuggable.

Enjoyable with tart cherries and some punchy acidity. Fairly simple.

Prettily flowery with red fruit notes, minerals, light body, long grippy finish

solid Thanksgiving wine

I’m less high on this than bottle #1 but it’s still quite good. It was more like a Pinot in the style of a (very good) cru Beaujolais that I remembered. Still quite good but not as brain-frying.

A still red Champagne which reveals a nimble, graceful Nebbiolo vibe with a serious chalk undertone. Nerdly and heavenly.

Can’t help but feel like this was overhyped

Клубника, ревень, крыжовник, дым, сушёная черника, вишня, мягко, гладко, очень приятно. Немного слишком approachable.
