Diamond Series Blue Label Merlot

Very fruit forward. Low tannin (probably from the start). Plummy. Sweet vanilla cream oak.

‘97 Jeroboam was cracked. Shoulder-fill. It’s past with the acidity and tannins being absent, but the aromatics are still intriguing. Red fruit and herb notes present.

Smooth and delicious table wine. Some plum and some oak hints, otherwise well-crafted. Pairs nicely with Korean beef.

Hints of toasted oak and definitely tasting blueberries. Good wine- I’m pleased.

Just ok

Really good merlot. Sour blueberry aroma. It started a bit harsh with heavy mineral flavors, but it was all gone when I poured my 2nd glass. Tart cherry, vanilla, pipe tobacco. Short finish, smooth leather tannins. I haven’t met a Coppola I didn’t like.

A touch sweet for a Malbec. Smooth, light, velvety. Lush black cherry flavor. Gentle tannins. I was drinking the 2015.

Goes extremely well with a lamb dinner.

I've liked this particular vine brand..and even now I still do..

scents of chocolate, little menthol, ripe plum, some earth, little animal, tiny bit of leather.
flavors show chocolate, plum, some black cherry, tiny bit of cranberry and wood. nice tastes up front, short finish.
