Francis does it again. This Zinfandel uncorks with the aromas of strawberry preserves and blackberries, but later gives way to an earthy, charred smell. The taste is very dark red fruits, soil, toasted marshmallows... finish is an odd combo of peach, bubble gum, and Chinese tea leaves. Bitter.
