Great example of an Alexander Valley Cab. 2012 is the best vintage yet. Smooth and round, but powerful. Aged 2 yrs French oak and grown primarily in mountainous vineyards, this has a great flavor. Big, concentrated black cherry up front, very smooth with a little bit of dark chocolate and pepper spice at the finish. Very nice soft tannins. Coppola's flagship wine, so winery exclusive.

Very young and could do with some years in the bottle. But after decanting: Lush and powerful fruit bomb with dusty tannins, herbal notes, roasted bell peppers and mocha. Super delicious

This is the best Coppola cab I’ve ever had .. very nice in a typical Sonoma style .. fruit forward but not overly jammy!

Big and bold, classic AV can. Firm tannic core will hold for years, give it a minute to open.

This is a powerful Cabernet, initially restrained on the nose it opens up very nicely after a short time in the decanter. No such restraint on the palate, thick, silky and packed with fruit, leather and vanilla. This is not a delicate wine but it’s not overdone in my opinion, it was the perfect pairing for a Sunday roast beef.
