A study in Spanish wine tonight. Noticeable Brett but a pretty big wine still given that it's 15 years old. Well done.

I thought it was very very nice. A departure from the fruit forward Pinot before it and the cab after it but enjoyed it.

Super rich and concentrated. Great depth of flavor and a long lingering finish.

Fantastic wine given its age even better. No sign of aging at all. Young and powerful, fruity.

Tertiary tones start to develop but not in the mouth.

Tertiaire notes are kicking in slowly. Color is also gradually turning brownish. The last fruit tones are still present.
Drink up is my advice (unless you are a sucker for meaty, mushroom and forrest tones).

Showing age both in color as in nose. Some tertiary notes. The sweet tones are gone and the spicey ones took over with some acids to balance that. Some mint and licorice are there.
