I thought it was very very nice. A departure from the fruit forward Pinot before it and the cab after it but enjoyed it.

100% Carinena. Bottled in 2006.
Still loads of black fruit but also pepper, licorice.
Tertiary tones start to develop but not in the mouth.

Tertiaire notes are kicking in slowly. Color is also gradually turning brownish. The last fruit tones are still present.
Drink up is my advice (unless you are a sucker for meaty, mushroom and forrest tones).

2004 vintage on 11.11.18
Showing age both in color as in nose. Some tertiary notes. The sweet tones are gone and the spicey ones took over with some acids to balance that. Some mint and licorice are there.
