Franc Arman
Teran
Much more enjoyable than the 2016. Deep ruby color. Black pepper, tar and late-season lilac on the nose. Medium-body but layered flavor with granite, vanilla, crushed red pepper and old boot leather...kind of a salty finish. I don’t remember how much I paid for this, but whatever it was, I would have paid more. Fantastic!

Dec 26th, 2019Very nicely aromatic with some forest berries and spice. Wish it had similarly big flavor. A little spicier as it opened up, tannins much milder than a typical Teran. It won’t upstage anything, but it’s perfectly drinkable.
