Fourth Leaf
Rob and Angelina Mondavi's Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Really think 11’s are in the zone. What the press had written off has turned to be a nice vintage. A mix of Atlas Peak and Howell Mountain touch of herbaceous notes that I normally don’t like but, this is really nice-brings a certain amount of freshness. Fine tannins that makes for a great solid finish.

Jun 10th, 2020A really great bottle, not as good as the last bottle I had. Slight variation or just the day??? Balanced with all points in check. Nicely done.

Sep 24th, 2018One of the biggest wines I have ever had. Molasses and dark chocolate all in the nose. Glycerin mouthfeel revealing sweet black fruit and mocha. Balanced across the palate. Surprised by the milk chocolate finish. Needs a long decant. Hard to beat fruit from Howell Mt. and Atlas Peak.

Nov 24th, 2017Fresh clean individual and harmonized fruits of blue and black fruit. Howell Mt and Atlas Peak showcasing their art and blending together to produce a seemless pure CS. Excellent.

Feb 2nd, 2017Drinking so darn well I opened 2 bottles this week. The balance is leaning a bit on the fruit side yet it is Devine. Happy with the wine and the potential for further aging or instant gratification. Drink up

Feb 15th, 2014Just as beautiful as I remember it at the release party this summer. Monstrous yet elegant and in total control. I believe 6 barrels of this were produced? Highly recommend to anyone interested in surprising themselves and their friends with an under-the-radar beauty.
