What a lovely wine! Give it a few hours to open up. Beautiful dark fruit, blackberries, soft leather, black licorice, strawberries, and earthy! Fantastic tannins, great acid -- all in balance.

This Merlot was muted when it was opened. As the hours went by, it opened up and became a wonderful, yet mature, wine. (2 hours of oxygen exposure) Little tannin, excellent acid for its age, and so very enjoyable.
