Hot vintage, red cherries, iron and basil VA notes but not as prominent as other vintages like 2009. Moderate (minus) body, moderate acidity, moderate plus tannin. Light garnet.

Really earthy. Gorgeous bottle. Can't think of a better Greek I've had

Great price point every day wine- medium bodied but has some zing to it.

Xinomavro with a bit of age. Tannin to the fore and drying edge to the fruit. Perhaps in a closed phase.

Love this wine - reminds me of a Malbec.

2011: Light fruit gives way to tons of earth and medium-low tannin that holds into a long finish. Nose is mild and earthy, with light red fruit. Quite enjoyable, fetching a few more to see what happens after even longer in the bottle.

2008 by Nikos Foundis. In a word...delicious! I can imagine it will be even better in an hour or two.
