Never had a Pinot Gris with this much skin contact. Sweet-salty watermelon and white flowers on the nose. Those same flavors carry on the palate, with the addition of some mushroom, oyster shells, a hefty dose of funk, tart acidity, and a briny finish which leaves you wanting more. This needs food. Paired well with scallop crudo, heirloom caprese, and burrata. Thanks as always to @Bob Miller for a fun recommendation.

Nov 23rd, 2016One of the Evil Twins from Fossil & Fawn's Ramato stylings with Pinot Gris. This is the "white" above-ground iteration that drinks like lavender & grapefruit skin tisane masqued as Rosé, masqued as clairvoyant pizza wine for a summer evening where anything feels possible!
