Very light translucent burgundy color. On the rim it becomes almost transparent. Nose of sour cherry, light berry note, and ripe aldehyde note. Taste is quite watery, too light, cherries oriented, and a bit zest or baking powdered. Aftertaste is short and almost nonexistent, some black pepper and zest, but leaving little trace of flavors on the tongue. Oops. After breathing, some of the flavors (raspberry and black pepper) do elevate from marginal to tasty, however the aftertaste is still quite weak.
