Deep ruby with some really powerful aromatics going on. All of the cherry pie you'll want, along with gobs of blackberry and layers of cocoa powder.
I'm not a dessert wine kind of guy. Never have been. They're typically just too sweet and syrupy for me. I was shocked to find a really enjoyed this. Customarily full-bodied with very rich, almost dense tannins.
Ultra decadent palate of German chocolate cake, sweet blueberries, and vanilla accents. Sweet, but not too sweet. Very well made. Might have just made me a believer.
