Much more energetic than the Vouvrays I have enjoyed. Bright, delicious wine with an almondy creaminess, coupled with ripe stone fruit, lemon approaching marmalade, and even white flowers. There is a mushroom quality in the nose that I find quite enjoyable.

2014: flavoursome little number, with a smokiness, savoury notes, truffle and cooked apples, peach, and blossom. Evident skin contact, giving texture, light phenolics but backed up by a vibrant acid. Textured, smoked honey, almond, and stone fruited joy. Lovely little number.
