One of the first vineyards we visited on our first trip to Napa. This was part of a Valentine’s Day tasting they did. Partial to 2010’s because that is the year we got married, so it all worked out. Amazing wine and we can’t wait to open the older ones we are sitting on.

Found this tucked away in a corner. Still lively with balance, solid fruit flavors. Lovely notes of black fruit and leather. Slight bit of too much oak-for my preference. Wonderful overall and holding court after 9 years. So much for the quarrel about 2011. Well made wines will always show delightfully.
