Barbera cannot put a foot wrong in Italy!! Perfect, easy to drink light/medium bodied perfect for a light picnic.

Medium ruby color.
Aromas of ripe black cherry, spice.
Dry. Flavors of sour cherry, cinnamon, floral, clove. Medium, chewy tannins.

Very sour. Tart cherry, strawberry, hint of earth.

Easy drinking and went well with pizza.

More interesting than good by a large margin. Definitely over the hill, would be curious to see what this was like 10+ years ago. Quite brandied, with a bit of acid holding things together. But very light and secondary.

Had this with a nice reindeer steak. Very good together. Pretty bright, but not acidic.
