"And though every single human in the stands or in the commentary boxes was at a complete loss for words, the man who in his life had uttered fewer words than any of them knew exactly what to say: That'll do, pig. That'll do."

Really good but needs more time. Typical aroma of an Italian. Earthy. Very spicy. Tannins are big and forward. Too overpowering right now but give it some time in the cellar and it will be great. Super price at the coop this month. 16. Update. Lowered the rating after we had it blind. Still good but it did lose. Interesting strawberry came out after a day.

A Veneto staple, I know this because my wife's family is from there..medium Cherry red color. .medium body, slight fruitiness and refreshing acidity &tannins. To know surprise pairs well with Cuisine of Northern Italy...we had it with Mushroom Risotto and a simple baked breaded chicken. Do not throw by the wayside...it's all in the pairing☺

Dry, low acidity and tannins. Tart with oaky notes and blackberry tastes.
