This probably says more about me than the wine, but it has a nose of full (wee) diaper. When the cellulose or whatever it is in the nappy swells up and activates, it gives off a sweet woodiness, and that's what I get here. Call it milky urea and wood pulp. Which is to say this is a cheerful Shiraz with fine tannins that I enjoyed a lot.
