Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

Deep Ruby with aromas of rich dark fruit, cedar and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of ripe black cherry, blackberry and currants with vanilla oak, cacao and toasty nutty notes. Fine tannins, well balanced with acidity, long finish ending with fruit, cacao and spicy oak. Nice!

Tightly wound with grippy tannin. Big and dark.

This was very tannic when I first tried it st the winery. It has aged nicely. Gave it 2 hours of air but it’s pretty velvety. Considering the reputation of 2011 Napa, this is quite a good effort. Good stuff.

Got suckered into buying this from a wine tasting at RH. This was def the fave of the bunch tho (hence the purchase). Rating based on impression from a yr ago. Will update after I bust this open at some point...

Heritage clones in a rugged hillside Sonoma site yield a wine of real distinction and pedigree. Great to see the 2017 Mountain Estate Cab live up to its stellar review 😊. The Fishers really nailed this vintage...

PnP. Better than expected and my previous bottle. More integrated tannins and bigger, darker fruit. Bordeaux like elements and a silky texture. I really enjoyed!

1hr+ decant. Started out better than it finished. Dark red color. Nose of wood, cherries, and subtle pepper/green tones. Wine seemed much higher than the 14.7 OH and was tannic and stringent. Somewhat biting finish. Not my style.
