It was a night of 05 wine. Not in a great place. Bought a few verticals of (05-07) in the fall of 2013. Mixed bag, the 05's were soft or flabby, the corks on the 06 were disasters and the 07's were solid. This bottle fit with the 05's I had previously. The wine isn't tired but it's not structured or lively

Oxidated color, salty minerality, strong tannins, full body. Tanned leather, tart red fruit, black berry, pickles, long finish, smoked meat. Awesome napa cab.
