Tall grass. Super light, almost Rose. Stone fruit. Some spice. Doesn't meet expectations of a good Pinot but I still kind of like it. I think I'd like this in the summer. Update 1 hour later: experience is not improving as it breathes. Will not buy again.

Sometimes you lose your mind in Total Wine and buy things you know you shouldn't. We love Fire Road's Sauvignon blanc. One of our favorite summer sippers. The Pinot....not so much. It's cheap and easy drinking. Not much complexity. It'll do right now. Busy night trying to pack. Too busy to open good stuff.

Enjoyed this last night. Learning what awesome Pinot Noirs come out of New Zealand! Bright and clean with notes of raspberry and blueberry commingled with the strawberry.
