Dark ruby bordering on purple. Substantial body. Cherry, tobacco, vanilla and some eucalyptus on the nose. More cherry and red fruit on the palate with a nice hefty and spicy finish. After a couple of hours of opening it developed an earthier scent. For the price this is something special. Lovely to see Australian Grenache as a point of comparison to the old world varietals. Try this!

The first week Wine Ink opened shop, we passed this bottle around blind. Every one of us though it was a new world Pinot Noir. Soft tannins, red fruit, long finish, but beware: the 15% alcohol on this baby will have your panties off and you won’t even know it happened.
