Who knew the sea shore was in Rioja?! Upon opening and first impressions, very bready, white earth and saline on the nose. Lots of salinity, white flowers, citrus, and chalky earth on the palette. Delicious. If we had some seafood, we would have been pigs in you know. With some time and air, this got richer and its edges mellowed out. With cheeses it shined.
