Great wine from Spain, dark fruit, blueberry, oak and vanilla on the nose. Palate is nicely layered with a nice long finish, perfumed dark fruit with oak, pipe tobacco, raisins and liquorice. Smooth mouthfeel with some tannins which will continue to soften. Hopefully the tannins will keep the raisins in check as that flavour may dominate as the wine ages further. Really rich and enjoyable. Not sure how to upload picture for new wine to delectable, answers on a postcard please 😃
