On the palate, a dry acid of medium body opens to black fruits, spice box, and black pepper. Medium tannins hold grip for a medium long dry cassis filled peppery/chalky finish. Balanced but slightly shifted to the nose with good structure. Good value at $16.98 USD for rich food/red meats accompaniment.
