Dark, glass-clinging garnet purple in the vessel. Black cherry, boysenberry, and vanilla on the nose. Echoed on the palate with brioche toast, firm (medium plus) tannins, and medium acidity. Classic CCR experience at a high-QPR price. Red-sauced Italian fare and lighter meats are its fast friends. Not a holding CCR, but definitely one to have while you wait for your others and your Brunellos.
