Gravelly Loam Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Just starting my cab pallet, but very nice to me

Awesome value - good oak and red fruit, some tannin

Not bad - had with some skirt steak.

Loved it! Such great quality - much better than wines at twice the cost. Excellent with buttermilk blue cheese or Stilton with mango

Maybe it's just the 2013 vintage, but this is terrible. So bitter. Very disappointed.

This is on the cusp of being really good California red. It's got some structure, supple fruit, and pronounced vanilla oak. The tannins are present but certainly not overwhelming. It's not cloying or over-extracted. I definitely wouldn't hold on to this for any length of time. This is a better than average, but drink it now kind of wine.
