Here’s a good excuse to buy some wine online: if you use the code “travellingcorkscrew” you’ll get $23 off your first order with Good Pair Days 😜

Which is where you’ll find this Fetherston 2017 Dolcetto Rosé from the King Valley in Victoria.

Dolcetto is an Italian red wine grape widely grown in the Piedmont region in northwest Italy. There’s a number of producers growing it here in Aussie which is pretty cool. Have you tried any?

I think this is my first ever Dolcetto Rosé though!

I found it a peachy rose colour in the glass with a wonderfully light and friendly nature. On the nose it’s like a bowl full of cut peaches, cherries and citrus with a sprinkling of nuts. While in the mouth it’s smooth and incredibly fresh with plentiful berries and spice. Nice and dry! It would make a great pizza 🍕 wine I reckon 😋

This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
