Silver Eagle Vineyard Chardonnay

There’s something very special about this wine, but I can’t quite put my finger on it.
A unique presentation, with grapefruit, lemons and limes. Excellent acidity, which brings just the right amount of tension. A honied sweetness completes what is a standout expression of Sonoma.

Cabernet night with the guys. Started with a few whites

Crisper than the Paul Lato, some crystals which had no impact but noting, the other Ferren was better

Heavy on the lime with lemon in the background. Nice and lively acid. Hold off as I see a lot of life still.

This is very good. Excellent concentration, depth, and length. Notes of lemon meringue, marshmallow, and vanilla. Rich yet balanced. Lovely.

Ripe, brioche, orchard fruits; textured, fat mouthfeel with a phenolic grip. Long and slightly warm.

Corked. My first corked ferren. My second flawed Chardonnay this week. :(
