May 2015 Altura wine club - this is a well developed 50/50 blend. Licorice and spice blend together on the nose along be with a hint of smoke. Red fruit and peppery flavor so follow on the palate. A velvety texture in the mouth with coarse tannins and a long finish. Have it with lean and delicate cut of meat such as filet mignon. 2007 vintage.
