Im a bit hesitant to right this review, because I actually like this winery. The bottle is not corked, but it is possibly missed its best year. the nose is earthy and with some touch of licorice. Wine is dry with elevated tannins, without the body. Flavors are too mellow to really enjoy which is disappointing. You can get a little sweet caramel from the barrel and cherry but it fades quick. The pleasant surprise is that the spicy cinnamon shows through and lingers. I like these characteristics, but lower tannins would go a long way to bringing more flavors out.
