Baked red cherries, cocoa powder, hints of cinnamon, herbs, black pepper, smokiness, and Dr. Pepper on the nose. Kirsch and tart raspberry on the palate, hints of amaretto and milk chocolate with a peppery zestiness at the back of the mouth on the finish. Great characteristic showing of the varietal
