Would argue the epitome of old world Rioja, at least from what I know, grape and fig, heavy tannin, very rich and full, I like some of their others better, have west coast Pinot delicacy, this one is inky purple, smell is perfume, sorrel and parria bbq, blueberries in the taste, very grippy but still drinking decent with smooth layering
