Felsner
Lössterrassen Grüner Veltliner
A simple, yet effective Grüner. Green apple is predominant on the nose, accompanied by some funky brine, flint & wet slate. Also a eucalyptus note that I find different & interesting. Palate shows more green - apple & pear skin. Underripe stone fruit, a white pepper layer, and a nice bit of acidity to keep the wine honest. Finish is short, but for $13.99 you could do much worse.

Nov 7th, 2016A Gruner lead by earth, saltiness, and minerality. Green apples and green citrus on nose, refreshing, clean, and very distinctly Gruner on palate. Enjoyable, and still evolving in the glass.

Sep 4th, 2024Simple - green fruit w/ some mild notes of slate. Crowd pleaser. 1 Liter for $14 is pretty difficult to beat.

Mar 17th, 2019This has been a WF house white for some time. Very reasonable and easy drinking. Green apple, and perhaps a touch of honey?
