Medusa Rias Baixas Albarino
Easing going, cheap albarino from rias baixas. Quite cheap too (about 12 USD here in Poland).
The nose is almost sauvignonesque, with an herbal note, some lemon, some lime, a bit of lemon and some chalky touches too. The palate is a bit unbalanced with a massive acid backbone and not much fruit, alcohol or matter to balance it. It's grippy and tangy, lively and super fresh but it calls for some see food tapas (think squid, fried calamari or mussels) to help mitigate a furious acid drive.

Very nice with the shrimp quesadilla. A combination of Granny Smith apple and preach up front with a smooth fruity finish that stays with you. Stood up well to the house verde sauce which is hot.
