Juicy, and gratifying. Macerated blackberries, cola, gingerbread. The perfect companion to a brisk January night in with the Golden Globes.

Has a brown tinge. 14.3%. Smells sweet and fruit driven.
A very nice well settled wine for a stupid 32$ on sale usually 70$ sold out in hours. Hirsch Vineyard yet a very different style than Jasmins Hirschs! 2% higher %. More Cali than Burgh. Blackberry compote. Very juicy and a little hot. Bitey. Not my style but great juice!

QPR wine here for access to Hirsch Vineyard fruit from Cliff Lede’s FEL label. Paled in comparison to the 2015 Pisoni which is clearly on another level.

Was a nice example of Pinot but I expected more given the vineyard.
