Clear dark red. Red raspberry jam and milk chocolate on the nose, leather upon swirling. Not too acidic, which was a pleasant surprise for a young Tempranillo. Nice understated tannins that still make their presence count. On the palate and finish it's red fruit and chocolate. Like Black Forest cake with a vinegar. $10 can buy you a Spanish Temp. with more oak and age, but the fresh juiciness of this is winsome in its own right.
