An 8 year old Chianti that had fully transitioned to secondary and tertiary notes of earth, cigar box and old weathered leather. Not a single fruit note. Fun and easy to drink as we were exploring the trails we had freshly cut into the mountain side and with our last home grown to tomatoes on the bruschetta’s.
