Good rule of thumb is buy great producers in off vintages. Don't chase the vintage but the producer. La gerla is a solid producer. This is very good. Won't knock your socks off but delicious, good fruit a little jammy. Very nice

Great color, orange tinged, dark plum tangy fruit, sour cherry with moderate acidity and a zingy finish!

Surprising amount of ripe red fruit to front and a pleasing tannic finish. Quite interesting. In a half bottle.

Juicy great mouthfeel. Medium finish. Enjoyable but this could cellar another 5 years at least.
