upon opening the wine seemed closed or tired. After decanting it gained in strength and weight and tannins came out. Mature but still on its plateau if given proper aeration.

Jun 2nd, 2020A mature and peaking brunello. The tannins are fully integrated but the wine still has a nice structure but for not too long i think. Lots of herbs, leather, some tomato with reddish fruit...sometimes no choice but to open a nice italian when eating home made lasagna...if someone has found a good combo with a burgundy i am all ears lol...
