upon opening the wine seemed closed or tired. After decanting it gained in strength and weight and tannins came out. Mature but still on its plateau if given proper aeration.

A mature and peaking brunello. The tannins are fully integrated but the wine still has a nice structure but for not too long i think. Lots of herbs, leather, some tomato with reddish fruit...sometimes no choice but to open a nice italian when eating home made lasagna...if someone has found a good combo with a burgundy i am all ears lol...
