Beautifully balanced Brunello! Barbi certainly has a special space in my heart as I visited that winery with my wife during our first joint trip to Italy! 2008 is ready but could certainly lay for 5/7 more years in my option before losing some main vintage character

Gave this a whirl with a medium rare steak. Lots of energy after 8 years, acid is vibrant, tannins are still settling in, rose scented, ripe cherries and plums, a classic wine. Would love to try an older vintage sometime.
