Dried cherries and blackberries on the highly expressive nose with a little vanilla and oak. Beautiful fresh roses, dark plums, and menthol accompany.
Smooth, well integrated tannins and medium acidity. Plump and elegant in stature, this is built to last. Sleek and slender with understated fruit and exquisite balance. California Pinot this is not. Lush and juicy in the mouth. A bit ethereal and supple. Excellent purity of fruit.
On the palate, more of those fresh roses and slight menthol. A touch of muted wild strawberry to go with dried plums. The funk is minimal but significant in its influence. A highly impressive young Burgundy with loads of potential.
