Very interesting late harvest Gewürztraminer. Lychee, pineapple, petrol, minerality on the nose. Lots of alcohol too. Lots of heat on the palate with low-medium acid. Residual sugar isn't powerful but it's definitely there. Tough to guess on a blind taste that it's from alto adige. After being open for a few days some of the wood spice and baking spices started to really come forward. Winemakers are German so you get some very classic Alsatian elements that throw you off. Very enjoyable and develops tremendously after opening.
