Viñas Viejas Vino de la Tierra Bajo Aragon Garnacha

I remember thinking this was pretty good. Bold flavor. Not sure of price point

A simple start to the weekend and a tip of the hat to Int'l Grenache Day.

I liked it more than my wife.

Fruity Grenache with a hint of licorice. Very friendly.

$12 from the corner store. It was okay but had a smoky or dirty finish that I didn't love.

Surprisingly good $12 Spanish bought at Safeway.

Enjoyed this Spanish red with a pizza covered with ricotta, fontina, cantaloupe, prosciutto, arugula, balsamic glaze & EVOO drizzle. Outstanding. We also paired with a champagne for the white.
